Potosino, David Rodríguez, se corona con Atlético de Otawa

El jugador de Atlético de San Luis, que juega como refuerzo logró espectacular gol de chilena.
Además el técnico de origen mexicano, Diego Mejía, también alzó el título con Atlético de Otawa.

David Rodríguez, futbolista mexicano nacido en San Luis Potosí, anotó un espectacular gol de chilena bajo la nieve en Canadá.

⚽️ El gol fue clave para que el Atlético Ottawa venciera 2-1 al *Cavalry FC de Calgary y ganara la North Star Cup de la Liga Premier de Canadá.

Rodríguez marcó un doblete, y su chilena al minuto 33 se volvió viral por su ejecución y el entorno nevado.

El técnico Diego Mejía, también mexicano, fue parte del logro como estratega del equipo.

Rodríguez expresó su emoción tras el partido: “Nunca voy a olvidar esta noche… No lo pensé, simplemente lo hice.”

Se espera que tanto Rodríguez como Mejía estén en el radar del Atlético de San Luis, club vinculado al Atlético Ottawa y al Atlético de Madrid.
